We took a bus to go to Tampere to visit Tamrock Heavy Industry (in 1997 the Sandvik Group of Sweden acquired Tamrock) and some others factories. We stayed at Sokos Hotel Ilves. Tampere is the third largest city in Finland, the weather were very nice and cold.
We have diner at Hakkarin Kartano Restaurant at Kuokkalantie, 37550 Moisio.
We visited Kievari Rantapirtti by the lake Salosvesi in Central Finland, we sailed crossed the lakes the nickname of Finland is Country of thousand lake, the people must have a license for fishing at the lake, and they said the community who will check to make sure the fishermen obey the rule and regulation not the police.
Again we had diner at a restaurant near the lake and we must follow the ritual first. We had to strip our clothes then jump to the cold lake about 5 degrees Celsius, after that we must enter Sauna’s room, we must jump back to the lake to close our pore. The menus are reindeer and salmon steaks, very yummy. For drink as usual I drink hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookies for dessert.
