Outbound Activities.

After we deviated from the main road we entered clay road, with pine trees at the right and left, and suddenly we had to stop at the road barrier, I saw a sign “Private Property, Trespassing will be shoot”. In a few second we heard a gun shoot and a man in indigenous Finns customs appears from the bushes with a shotgun, we were scared and cranky because we didn’t know what had happen, our tour guide jumped out of his car, his face was pale white and told us to be calm. After hot arguments we were allowed to enter the barrier, luckily these were a part of drama to welcome tourists.

We were welcome by the indigenous Finns, and we have to wear a field Jacket and safety boots, then we sat circled around him. He made a ritual and delivered speech in Finnish and said they accepted us as a member of their clans, to mark it he put two black doted at our forehead.

We had to play like a boy scout, they provide us a small knife, a small fry pan, an egg and we had to make an omelet, we had made fire without matches, like in the Stone Age. We had to walk using high stick, used shoot gun, used air riffles, crossed the lake by canoe, and threw a knife.

Finally they provided us barbeque for lunch, as usual I choosed to drink hot chocolate and chocolate cake for dessert.

On our way back to the city, we saw a traffic accident. We saw the police swept broken glass out of the roadway. For your information, all vehicles and motorcycles must turn on their head lamps during the day and night, right lane drive, maximum speed 100 km/hour at highway and the people don’t like to blow horn.

All of our photos was taken by Nikon old type, because we didn't have a digital camera at that time.
